Realife Cooperative of Phalen Village is a secure community of 59 units for active seniors 62+. Our building is managed by a professional team with a Manager, Maintenance Worker, and a Housekeeper for the common areas. Each member is encouraged to participate in the operation of the building according to their ability and interests. This is in keeping with the spirit of the Cooperative and helps to keep our membership very affordable. Our Board of Directors is elected from the membership and makes decisions based on recommendations from committees and suggestions from members at large. We have an active social life with men’s coffee, craft circle gatherings, morning coffee and donuts, pot lucks, bingo, card games, billiards, exercise classes and informal, spontaneous gatherings.
