About Realife Cooperative of Brooklyn Park

Realife Cooperative of Brooklyn Park is located on 8+ acres on the northwest corner of 85th Avenue North and Xerxes bordering the 11th Fairway on the Edinburgh Golf Course and a city managed bike/walking path.

Our community consists of persons aged 62+ who are independent, active, and fun loving. All members occupy one of the 11 styles of units/apartments which consist of 850 to 1515 square feet.

Cooperative living frees our residents from chores such as mowing shoveling, painting, upkeep, etc. It allows residents to participate in more community activities such as, card games, bingo, Wednesday and Friday morning coffee, special events planned by our Activities Committee, and catered dinners arranged by our Catering Committee. Many member enjoy uttering in their “own garden”.

Our buiding was recently updated to include Direct TV, WiFi, phone, and internet for all members, guest rooms, and both the Edinburgh and Fairway Rooms, at no additional cost to members.

Cooperative members normally occupy their units/apartments longer than renters do; therefore, members become better acquainted with their neighbors, and learn to work together for the general good of the people and the building thereby leading to a better understanding and growth of an active, viable community.
